It makes me want to cry to hear of everyones' troubles and asking for a grant , or knowing of any. When the truth of the matter is that there is no "Quicky" grants. I have searched the net.Yes, the whole list! There are a few that you can get free applications on the net but they are not the type that most people need.
The Grantgate and Federal Money Retriever are the closest and only programs on the internet that helps you find grants from the federal government and from Foundations. They help you with the Letter of Inquiry and the Application its' self.
You can find a few websites that offer propasal templates, propasals, winning applications, tutorials. There are plenty, in fact almost over run with, websites that tell you that you get free CD's, just pay_____, they even include grant writing software BUT and that's a big BUTT, stuck right in your face.The only thing the CD's do is connects you to the site they represent and gives you a few gif's, that's sort of like a template for the websites program to run in. THAT is all!It's no good with out the website and that cost $29.95 or $39.95 depending on which site you use. They will give you a 7 day free trial, as stated in my Consumer Rights Blog. but you don't get the CD until way after the 7 days are up. The seven days start the minute you sign up. Cute trick, huh? Oh, yeah, you get charged automatically after the seven days if you do not call them and turn down their offer. They don't tell you that. That's why they want your credit card information for the postage and handling. Hook line and sinker, aren't they nice? Don't you just want to work with a company that treats you that way? But you get a free CD.......that is worthless with out the website. They do offer , for a price, extra of course, besides the cost of 29 or 39, rounded off to 30 or 40 Dollars a MONTH, help to write that grant for you or with you. But you still have to have the information for them, which means you have to have all the information.
GRANTGATE and The Federal Money Retriever are NOT like that.The programs are downloaded free of charge. They help you find the grants for your needs, they help you write the grants and print them after you are done. All you have to do is put them in an envelope and mail it. You just fill in the blanks with your information. Simple. Easy.
It is written some where by a well known grant writer" If you are looking for a grant within a year you are a year late" By the time most people need the grants it's already too late. Great , huh? But that is the truth. This is the only website that I've been lucky enough to come across, that has regular people helping each other. Genius!!!! By asking for help on this website, it is about the fastest way you are going to get help, unless you go to your local community services and churches and ask, and even then some of the information you get maybe out dated.
I just don't want you to get your hopes up to high because the point of this all is that it takes time. The sad part is is that it's like a carrot dangling in front of a donkey's face leading them(us) on with little hope of obtaining the prize. It can be achieved by good people helping each other and work on your part , with the right information, unlike the donkey.
I just wish that my Uncle Sam would help you all with the difficulties that you have instead of helping millionares go on junkets when their companies are crumbling, or bailing out Airlines, Car companies, Banks and Insurance companies. If these companies are being ran that poorly, then they should not be rewarded to continue the same path that got them there in the first place. Reduce THEIR wages, take away their 'Bonues" make them want to correct what is failing in their companies OR get rid of them and get someone in there that wants to!!!! I mean come on, give me a break, give US a break. We are the ones who need the jobs and the money. That's how the economy is going to get back on it's feet. I'm not one of those high priced Economist, just a regular person, but I know that if people have money they will spend it and disguard an item easily instead of getting the item fixed. If a person doesn't have money then they will hold on to what they have for dear life. It doesn'lt take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Why do you think that our system is set up the way it is? Would you rather have 9 or 10 people spending thousands of dollars or millions of people spending hundreds of dollars?
Want to know something that is funny? My Uncle Sam, after riding the insurance companies, car companies, the banks, and the airlines, telling them how bad and thoughtless they are and how they are going to get to the bottom of this crisis. My Uncle Sam who cares for me deeply, wants to do everything for me puts in this stimulas package, a WAGE increase for THEMSELVES, all that money getting thrown or passed around, they got to get their fingers in there, yet they aren'lt ashamed, THEY are Justified, the last I heard was 10%. Sweet. Don't you just feel the love oozing out of every pore. I , I who have nothing, to coin a phrase, and you who have nothing or very little are willing to help each other the best you can, with anything and everything you can, expecting nothing in retrun. Now re- read that paragraph again and tell me what's wrong with that picture.
That's why my heart aches. There are so many people that need help and for the most part a job, one that they can rely on. Instead the jobs are all being shipped to Mexico, China, or some other third world country so that they can get cheap labor. WE need those jobs back in the states. My thoughtful and caring Uncle hasn't figured that if Congress would put a stiff and heavy fine for taking the job outside the country, Congress could cut down the deficit.
So, I appaud you people that look up this information and takes time to help on this website. I salute you who has heart, passion, and cares for your fellow human being.You are the silent unsung heros. You and the organizations that are the helping hands. You are beautiful. Pat yourselves on the back .You deserve it. I wish I could shake everyone of your hands.
You are "Aidpage".There isn't enough that can be said for the founders of "Aidpage""Grantgate" and "The Federal Money Retriever" They deserve kudos, a hoo-rah, and a pat on the back.Is there any other site like this on, I don't think so. I think there ought to be more of them.
